The living quarters of the Father of the Nation and the things used by him are on display here. The museum here has informative records of his life and teachings. Bhadra Fort

Kankaria Lake

Kankaria Lake which was constructed in 1451 is a popular tourist destination in Ahmedabad. It is a circular lake with an island garden along with a summer palace at its center. It is now a recreation center with parks, an aquarium, a boat club, a historical museum and a zoo. There is also a toy train that lets you travel in it around the lake while enjoying beautiful views.
