Mr S. P. Jain’s journey began in a remote town of Madhya Pradesh. Born in rural Sagar District with a population of just 4,000, he faced numerous hurdles during his early educational endeavours. Determined to succeed, he put in all the efforts to pursue his middle-level education and higher education, travelling a distance of 26 miles to the town of Sagar for school every day. With the ambition of making it big, Mr Jain moved to Mumbai, where he started his journey as a young Chartered Accountant. Over the past three decades, he has transformed into the visionary Chairman and MD of SP Group, a prominent conglomerate with ventures in Hospitality, Construction, and Finance. Far from a typical rags-to-riches story, Mr. Jain’s journey is a reflection of grit, perseverance, and entrepreneurial spirit.

As an active figure in India’s hospitality sector, Mr Jain has held pivotal roles, including former President of the Hotel & Restaurant Association and Vice President of FHRAI, using his expertise to shape and enhance the hospitality landscape in India. Beyond his business achievements, he has been a dedicated philanthropist, supporting education for the underprivileged through donations to schools, hostels, and various institutions. As a proud alumnus of The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition New Delhi and Advanced Hotel Management Degree from Libera University, Rome, Italy, Mr Nayar has been steering the Pride Hotels Group to great height of success. He has been adding tremendous value in making the hotel chain a giant in Indian hospitality. With an in-depth hotel experience of over 48 years in Hotel Operations in India & overseas in Reputed Hotel Chains, Mr Nayar has the perfect skills to lead such a leading and growing hotel chain.

A keen planner & strategist he has been responsible for successfully leading the operations and development for Pride Hotels Group.

An Alumni of the prestigious Cornell University (US), Mr.Upadhyay holds a bachelor’s degree in Science from Jiwaji University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Symbiosis International University. He has played a significant role in both pre-opening and established operations to give Pride Group a cutting edge in the existing competitive hospitality market.
